Jan†Babendererde crashed his dirt bike on Sunday the 25th of March 2018. Jan was then air lifted to Wenatchee hospital with a spinal injury. They removed the back half of c2-c5 to alleviate pressure on the spinal cord. Jan faces a long and hard recovery, with many expenses.† Jan and Kris are some of the most giving people on the planet.† It is time for us to give back.† Even the smallest amount helps, it all adds up.† Please pray and think positive for Jan's recovery.

As Jan told the nurse:

I am 10 feet tall and bulletproof !

Angela and I were gone when everything happened with Jan. I called Nancy Richards, Chris Sicilia and Fritz Guenther to run an idea by themä. Check this out: At the One Show I had 150 posters made of my best piece TIMING MARK - in the confusion they never got opened. Brand-new glossy 12 x 18 prints. I will sign them all- $20 - all proceeds going to Jan & family. That'd be 3K.

But the real painting TIMING MARK itself, which is almost 5 feet wide... I'd like to auction it off. There's no way to say it without being blunt, so I'm just going to do it. It's a $4000 piece, so I'm setting a hard $2500 reserve. In case anybody is confused about the word reserve in an auction, it simply means if we are going to do this, we are going to do this right. EVERY SINGLE PENNEY goes to Jan & Family.

And I don't want the money to go through me at all- so I have asked Tharyn & Nancy Richards to help me facilitate all this as part of the effort to help. There it is.
